The second floor landing was not in terrible condition so only needed
painting and replacement light fixture. When the electrician took
off the old fixture, he discovered that the wiring was shot. New
wiring had to be installed in several parts of the house. |

On the second floor is the Garand conference room (shown), two offices
and the Springfield room, used for computer training. |

Cantius Garand developed and designed the semi-automatic rifle (.30m1)
that was adopted by the United States as the official US rifle on
January 9, 1936.
