Each lantern is a family shrine.
This photo needed to be left a large as possible so you could note the
chain hanging from the rain gutter. I saw several of these chains,
some of which had little bells that would gently chime as the water
flowed over them.
This type of "downspout" prevents water splashing on the
building.
